Deep Fried Stringers
Serves: 8
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
8 Bega Stringers
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Flour for coating
Oil for deep frying
Method:
- Coat stringers in flour and dip into egg.
- Roll in breadcrumbs.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2.
- Chill well.
- Deep fry in hot oil until golden, removing before cheese melts and oozes. Drain well.
- Serve immediately with sweet chilli sauce, mango chutney or redcurrant jelly.
