Quick Better Herb Bread
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour
30g Western Star Butter
2 cups grated Bega Strong and Bitey cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, chives, thyme etc)
1 cup milk
milk, extra, for brushing
Method:
- Sift flour into a bowl and rub in Western Star Butter. Mix in grated Bega Strong and Bitey Cheese, herbs and milk and mix until mixture forms a sticky dough.
- Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth. Divide mixture into four pieces and shape into a ball. Brush with extra milk.
- Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked. Serve warm.
